From the front it looks like an ordinary garage, but the inside tells a different story. Previously, the raw premises housed a car seat maker but is now turned into a creative and flexible co-working studio located in Taarbæk, only a short drive from Copenhagen.

The studio was founded in 2017 by Interior Designer Rikke Martensen-Larsen, Interior Stylist Louise Kamman Riising and Film Producer Maria-Louise Ottesen and is home to seven creative workspaces.

In addition to office facilities, GARAGE NO8 also presents a pop-up shop that offers a small selection of interior items including lighting, ceramics and handmade pieces that can be viewed at our Instagram account alongside with pictures of the daily office life.

With its many facets GARAGE NO8 is an ideal location for shooting interior, fashion or commercials or maybe the perfect location for your next creative PR events. 

The transformation of GARAGE NO8 has been carried out with an overall consistency in colors, materials and decor, which, in combination with green plants and industrial details, creates a cool, eclectic vibe.

GARAGE NO8 is divided into two large high-ceilinged rooms (the former garages), a small meeting room and a cosy kitchen area. The walls are painted in soft matte colors from Jotun and the floor is an off-white painted concrete floor.

The interior is carefully selected and some even custommade to accommodate the facilities and its functionality, and can easily be redecorated or removed. GARAGE NO8 has high ceilings with transverse rustic iron beams and gates that can be opened from floor to ceiling which makes it possible to incorporate the exterior/outdoor area as a part of the setting. More pictures of the premises are displayed here.
